Located after the first bottleneck of the Bruche Valley, the town suddenly finds itself at the turn of a rocky overhang. The village nestles in a small depression on the right bank of the River.

The church is the most interesting building in the village. Its bell tower whose base is in late Gothic style is distinguished by its entrance with lintel representing St. Martin sharing his cloak with a beggar (1523).

Embedded in the wall of the old cemetery, a miniature Holy Sepulchre (c. 1500) draws attention.
