TOWN PRESENTATION

The village is built on a small plateau along the south facing terrace. Overlooked by Cheiron and bars overlooking the Loup valley, rich in waterfalls and impressive waterfalls, tunnels and narrow gorges, the village appears as a jewel in the casket of majestic foothills, nestling at the foot of Mount Cheiron

The territory of the municipality of Gréolières now includes two villages: Saint Pons les Neiges Gréolières the summer / winter closest to the coast (45 km).

Rising to 1800m, the resort, with an installation of automatic snow will delight lovers of downhill skiing (30 km of trails green, blue, red and black) and cross-country skiing (30km of pistes drawn in duplicate and not the skater) without forgetting the snowshoe trails.

SIGHTSEEING

Gréolières is a medieval village with its two castles still visible (a circuit of the heritage is offered to the Office of Tourism), with narrow streets lined with houses typical of the mountains of Provence. Shady terraces await.

The Tourist Office offers various hiking tours, which depart from either the village or the resort, you will discover breathtaking views over the valley of Esteron and the Mercantour massif.

Virtually all year paragliders take off with skyline as one of the most beautiful landscapes in the region (turbulent streams, gorges tightened to peak in good weather and breathtaking sea views ...).
