Very nice village redesigned in the 18th century, surrounded by green hills and wooded river crossed by the Ource and the canal dug by the monks of Molesmes, who were owners of communal territories from 1095 to the French Revolution (1789). Beauregard Chapel, erected in thanksgiving by people who escaped the fire when a Prussian soldier was mortally wounded by Garibaldi, who had attacked their army on the road Autricourt.
