Goudourville extends between the channel and the Barguelonne, near the White Quercy. The town offers everything both rich landscapes of the plains and those wilder and more secrets of the hillsides Causse.

The hamlet of Lalande shows a beautiful Romanesque chapel of the 11th century. Goudourville Castle, built at the same time, overlooking the valley of the Garonne. From the 11th century, the history of Goudourville merges with that of his castle. This ancient feudal fortress owes its fame to its location on the borders of Quercy, in the marches (boundaries) of the Kingdom of France. Characters as famous as the Black Prince and Simon de Montfort made his seat.
