The Church of St. Martin, built in the 11th century is notable for having added a gate tower in the 12th century on its southern facade.

The castle and the chapel: the imposing ruins of the castle overlooking the valley Thouaret. Built in the 12th century, expanded and modified in the 16th century it was partly burnt during the wars of Vendee. He grew up the niece of Cardinal Richelieu. The chapel contains two magnificent white marble recumbent. These sculptures represent Mr. De Vignerot of Pontcourlay and his wife, née Françoise de Plessis de Richelieu, sister of the famous cardinal.
