• Hydroelectric:

• The largest hydroelectric plant Hautes-Pyrénées has seen its last projects from 1947 to 1953 in the town of Gavarnie. National example of technical water recovery, a technical achievement, Pragnères includes 40 km of galleries, including 4 dams Cap de Long, near Néouvielle which is the biggest in the Pyrenees, a power plant and two pumping stations. The plant is designed to supply electricity at peak hours.

• Mills Gèdre-Top:

• These mills are evidence of an ancient activity in harmony with the environment. Guarantors of authenticity rural and mountain, they discover the village of Gavarnie-Top in Dera mold on the Gave de Campbieil. Five in number, they belong to different families in the village. They were still used in the 1970s and one of them even turned to 1985.

• 350 sqm of climbing walls, over 18 meters high, numerous routes to suit all levels.
• From 10 July to 20 August: Open every day from 9h to 19h. Tuesday to 21h. The rest of the year: Open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 12pm and 14pm to 18pm. Tuesday to 21h.
• Access autonomy, with its own equipment for experienced people. On site, ropes and slings only. No rental equipment (can be rented at the sports shops on Gavarnie).

• Bobsleigh:

• Like skiing, the thrill! Come slide down the toboggan run summer and winter at full speed (700 m descent).
