Hydroelectric:
The largest hydroelectric plant in the Hautes-Pyrenees has seen his yards last from 1947 to 1953 on the common Gèdre. National example of water recycling technology, technical feat, Pragnères includes 40 km of tunnels, dams, including four in Cap de Long, near Néouvielle which is the largest of the Pyrenees, a production plant and two pumping stations. The plant is designed to provide electricity at peak hours.

Mills Gèdre Tops:
These mills are the testimony of an ancestral activity in harmony with the environment. Guarantors of authenticity rural and mountain, they are discovering the hamlet of Gèdre Tops at Dera mold, over the river of Campbieil. The five, they belong to different families in the village. They were still used in the 1970s and one of them even turned up to 1985.

350 m of climbing walls, over 18 m tall, numerous routes to suit all levels.
From July 10 to August 20: Open daily from 9am to 19h. Tuesday until 21h. The rest of the year: Open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 12pm and from 14h to 18h. Tuesday until 21h.
By autonomy, with its own equipment, for experienced people. On site, ropes and slings only. No rental equipment (can be hired in the sports shops on Gavarnie).
