Gauriac is located in the canton of Bourg en Gironde which has 15 municipalities: Saint-Ciers Canesse de Saint-Trojan, Samonac, Villeneuve, Bourg, Teuillac, Saint-Seurin-de-Bourg, Bayon-sur-Gironde, Tauriac , Prignac-and-Marcamps, Pugnac, Lansac, Comps and Mombrier.
