The village of Foëcy is the gateway to the Sologne and in the wine region of Cher between Bourges and Vierzon. The region offers a wide choice of tours, vineyards, castles and porcelain factories.

The village was born in Gallo-Roman and took the name Fessacio from the year 1200. It is known that Foëcy since 1529.
