TOWN PRESENTATION

This town is located in the extreme south of the township of Domme and limits of the Lot. Its history is therefore between these two departments.

The first signs ... The existence of these two parishes is attested from the 13th century under the name "Floridus Mons" and "Gaumerium.

A story about castles ... Emerging from the forest, the red tones of the castle and hamlet Péchimbert face the castle Den located on the opposite shore and the ruins of white stones retain an austere grandeur, highlighting the contrast between these two castles.
