Small village on the edge of town with his Clery medieval Benedictine abbey, and laundry.

The town of Ferrieres is located on the circuit trekking GR13 between Chateau-Landon and Amilly. Near the forest of Montargis. Montargis to 13 km, 95 km Orleans, Paris 100 km.

Altitude 97 meters - 3300 inhabitants - RN 7 or ramp Dordives on A6 - Gare SNCF de Ferrières-Fontenay.

• The church (twelfth-fifteenth centuries) Ferrières:

• Octagonal cupola on the high plane of the old Carolingian church. Renaissance stained glass.
• Sanctuary of Our Lady of Bethlehem, Black Virgin, altarpiece of the seventeenth.
• Remains of the abbey tithe barn, Gothic halls.
• Guided tours for groups by appointment at the tourist office.

• At Sceaux-du-Gâtinais: archaeological site of Roman spa town of Aquis Segestae. Guided tours of 15 to 18 pm Sunday and by appointment.
