Charming town of 25,000 residents, located between the Marne and Coteaux, Epernay welcomes you. At the crossroads of the circuits of the "Champagne Tourist Route" through which all the famous wines, Epernay is surrounded by hills whose slopes are covered with vineyards producing the famous wine. The heart of the vineyard, with its 30,000 hectares in production, beats at Epernay.
Epernay is a dynamic city whose economy is marked by the food and especially champagne. Agriculture and viticulture mainly occupy more than 30% of the usable area. The industry, meanwhile, represented by three main sectors: industry and mechanical processing, construction and public works, and finally the Champagne industry and related activities. L'Orangerie: Jardin de l'Orangerie Establishments Moet et Chandon, was drawn to the First Empire (1807) by Lorraine painter Isabey.
