Entrevennes is a common area of 3000 ha in the watershed Rancure, a small tributary of the left bank of the Durance. Between Durance, Asse and Bléone, tray-Puimichel Entrevennes extends northward Valensole which it is separated by the valley of the Asse and with whom he shares many natural features and landscapes emblematic of the Haute Provence, whose structures are still fairly well preserved.
From prayer, according to the D101, which winds through fields of lavender, olive trees and wheat between "heaven and earth" appears on its promontory Entrevennes built the village of "crown" at 640 m , typically Provencal, with its little square bowls players and coffee on the terrace, its crooked streets, its gardens shaded by fig trees and climbing vines. After a long period of sleep, since in 1975 the town numbered only 98 people, Entrevennes today with 171 inhabitants, is changing to join the 21st century. She welcomes new businesses open to tourism and the protection of the environment with the development of olive cultivation, beekeeping, raising sheep, and two equestrian centers, and within the village, a potter, a glass engraver, finally reopening the bar-restaurant and the creation of a new cultural space after the restoration of the Saint-Michel.
SIGHTSEEING
Rich in history, dating back to Roman times, the town retains many vestiges of its past such as the Church of St. Martin and his choir, 12th century, the Saint-Michel and the Chateau from the Middle Ages and restored in the 17th century, as are many mansions built under Louis XIII.
