Entrevaux is located along the Var and the RN202, on the border of the Alpes-Maritimes. Advanced military stronghold of the kingdom of France, the fortified village dominated by its famous Citadel, earned him the title of Vauban city.

Access to the historic city is by the Porte Royale and its impressive drawbridge.

You undoubtedly fall under the spell of this beautiful village rich with history to suit your wanderings in the streets.

Just outside the pass line of the famous railway train Pignes, between Nice and Digne-les-Bains. This connection (opened in 1911), in a natural beauty, is taken by about 500,000 passengers per year!

The Association for Heritage Protection Entrevaux (APPE) organizes since 1989 the famous Medieval Feasts of Entrevaux in order to finance the restoration and maintenance of its heritage.
