The common Dracy covers an area of 2,186 ha including 1,004 ha of forest. Its population is composed of 209 inhabitants. The number of second homes is 102.

The origins of Dracy back to the Gallo-Roman. This village, crossed by Ouanne, located in the middle of fields and woods, becomes, in the 11th century, the fief of the barony of Toucy, limiting the possessions of the County of Champagne, where ongoing conflict. Dracy houses an interesting church with its belfry-porch with a base date of the 11th century.

The brick buildings and majestic castle rebuilt in the 18th century are an attractive village. The splendid garden Masbrouck, listed in the Parks and Gardens of Saxony "draws in the summer, many visitors.
