Bastide Royale 13th century founded by Philip the third bold Domme has many treasures in addition to its architectural heritage.

The village has preserved many historical buildings and you can walk in both pedestrian lanes on the walls of this fortified town.

The walker will be delighted by the exceptional view over the valley of the Dordogne, will follow the cliff 150 meters high, the length of the village to the park and its orientation table.

The basement of the village lies a most beautiful caves formations, 450 m long, which runs entirely within the village and that leads to the cliff and whose visit ends with the rise in panoramic lift.

One of the towers, gate towers, contains priceless carvings left by the Templars imprisoned and remained there until their deaths which have carved the walls of these mysterious graffiti including the Tourist Office offers a fascinating decryption.
