Dax is renowned for its curative value of its warm waters and mud treatments. First resort in France, its old city is bisected by the Adour. Dax is the hinge between the huge forest of the Landes de Gascogne and the fertile slopes of Chalosse where in each farm, are fattened geese and ducks.

Dax, sub-prefecture of the department of Landes, is the city of good living, 4 hours from Paris by TGV. Famous for its rugby, its festivals, bullfights and gastronomy.

Dax also has a dense network and offers an important cultural life and well-structured (exhibitions, shows, libraries, museums ...). Equipped with modern infrastructure, Dax is not only a city of culture and leisure, but also a center for trade facilitated by the proximity of Spain.

• The Fountain Hot or source of Nèhe: true symbol of the resort, it has a flow of hot water at 64 °, 2 400 000 liters per day.
