Geminiani, Magria, then Cugucianum Cuxac ... A village in the lowlands of the Aude, built near the river to enjoy its rich alluvial deposits. Its ramparts protected the attacks of the Black Prince in 1355 and later, closing its doors to the ravages of the plague. Built on the left bank of the Aude, Cuxac is on the ramp connecting the road to Saint Jacques de Compostela (Arles to Toulouse) to the Domitian.
