Small village of 673 inhabitants, the gateway to the Parc Naturel Régional du Bauges, located in Natura 2000.

Four ovens are still active in the village, renovated and maintained by a dynamic association.

Nature trail on the hill Curienne-Saint-Michel, with a feudal mound dating from the 10th century and the ruins of the Saint-Michel of the 11th century, all overlooking the historic crossing point of the road from Grenoble to Turin. Site shaped oppidum.
