Castle Quéribus: At the door of the Cathar country, sentinel of history since the 11th century, Quéribus is the last bastion to fall to the Crusaders in 1255. Between Catalan and Occitan, he defended the frontier of France from the 13th until the signing of the Treaty of the Pyrenees (1659) in the 17th century under Louis XIV. Very well preserved, it is an excellent example of military architecture. From his terrace, it offers a magnificent panorama stretching from the Sea to the Pyrenees.
