Joint born of the reunification of two municipalities in 1817. At the end of the Revolution, each parish had become a commune. There are two churches: Holy Dove Crasville, remarkable for its furniture, and Our Lady of Grenneville overlooking the bay of Saint-Vaast la Hougue at Utah Beach.
