Longest village of France, Courtisols stretches over 7 km on both banks of the river Vesle.

The town is located on National Road 3, 12 km from Chalons-en-Champagne (administrative capital of Champagne-Ardenne), 30 km from Sainte-Menehould (gastronomic capital of the pig's foot) and 75 km from Verdun ( World Capital of Peace).

Rich grain farming village, its history and traditions back to the Middle Ages.

• The Church of St. Martin, mentioned for the first time in the 9th century, with a timbered nave of the first half of the twelfth, the sixteenth recovery is classified a historical monument.
• The Church of St. Memmie mentioned from 1232, is also a listed building. The transept was built in the late twelfth.
