Located at the crossroads of the Sologne, Berry and Val de Loire, a commune Coullons is quiet and very large (7800 ha).

At 60 km east of Orleans and 60 miles north of Bourges, it is also easily accessible from the capital with the A77 (160 km) which passes just above Gien.
