The country of hazel (or hazelnut) is characterized by very rugged terrain. The plateau reaches a height of 284 m Ferrière while the valley of Ozee on the Bell, is only 128 m. The municipality of Coudreceau is characterized by a very diverse landscape. The plateau and wooded slopes of Maurissure, descend to the hamlet of La Poterie in the valley of La Cloche. Of these fields and meadows, we go back to the village of Coudreceau and the plateau of La Ferrière, representing a drop of 153 m.
The church, dedicated to Saint-Aubin, the 13th century but was much rebuilt in the sixteenth. She is currently undergoing restoration and is not accessible to the public.
The hamlet of La Poterie, size equivalent to that of the village of Coudreceau himself is quoted in the 12th century, in the cartulary of Thiron for his pottery business: "The tiny pottery, tableware and leaded glazed, are shaped the hamlet of La Poterie, near Coudreceau ". This hamlet is home to several families of potters and this, for several centuries. With the death of Louis Legue in 1954, what stopped this activity.
- The Church of Coudreceau is dedicated to St Aubin. Despite the reference to 1257 in the parish of Coudreceau, construction of the church is 16th century. Its plan is rectangular with a long nave with a choir rounded apse. The north aisle is separated from the nave by three columns. To the south, the chapel was extended by the bell, large solid square two-storey twin bays with pyramidal roof and external staircase tower.
