Cormeilles-en-Parisis, 17 km from the towers of Notre Dame, an ancient city but also new town, offering visitors the pleasure of a privileged country, from the top of the hill to the banks of the Seine. It prides itself to remain a green oasis while enjoying easy access to Paris and arranged around the center. Houses with balconies and gardens, streets and squares with their flower beds are a delight for the eyes. Several walks can admire the Valley of the Seine to the heights of the Hautil and get acquainted with the Heritage Cormeillais.

The history of Cormeilles back further in time in 1890 with the discovery of Neolithic remains dating from about 4000 BC. JC., The remains of Iron Age and Gallo-Roman. • Museum of Plaster:

• Set in a 18th century house, the Museum has a permanent core collections but also thematic exhibitions: history of plasterboard, gypsum and geology, moldings, old tools, memory of Lambert's career, sculptures.

• Fort Cormeilles:

• During the siege of Paris in 1870, Prussian troops had occupied all the heights around the city. The first defensive belt (1841 - 1846) has become ineffective because of advances in artillery, the Defense Committee charged General Raymond Sere de Rivieres of the construction of new defenses for France and Paris. Fort Cormeilles is part of the second belt, composed of 20 to 39 batteries. It was built from 1874 to 1877.
