Coaraze is one of the "most beautiful villages of France", called "Village of the Sun". It is located on a rocky peak at 650 m altitude to a half-hour from the city of Nice. This medieval village is known for its sundials Cocteau, Goetz, Doukine Valentin, Ponce De Leon and Mona Christie.

A Coaraze, do not miss visiting the Chapel of Saint Sebastian (16th century frescoes), the Blue Chapel (frescoes by Ponce de Leon in 1965) and the Church of St. John the Baptist inside the village. On the castle square that is located above the village, one can also see the summit of Rocca Serra (1504 m) and Mount Férion (1414 m). You can also practice many hiking and canyoning.

• A Coaraze, you can enjoy multiple rides. The best known and most interesting is that Rocca Sparvier, via the Col Saint-Michel, to reach the ruined village of Queen Jane (1100 m). But fifty hikes are listed from the village. You can also go canyoning near the village of Planfaé the clue.
