46 ponds are identified on the town and walking trails criss-cross the path of the ponds, the path of large plates and recently the path of ponds and fountains. Moreover, behind the Town Hall / School Group / After School is equipped with a water playground.

The stream that borders the building and the prairie is crossed by a small stone bridge is very old. 13 fountains typical red sandstone of Haute-Saône and iron are located in the village.

The Festival Committee ensures the flourishing village every summer and fountains, making it a picturesque circuit.

You experience the temple on a hill and the church over another. A grain mill is located near the Town Hall.

Peculiarity of the War Memorial Chenebier: French and Prussian soldiers (veterans of the War of 1870) are buried in the back with a commemorative plaque. A local distillation stonework and sandstone, is still used.

The village has two cemeteries (one Catholic and one Protestant), which is rare in the department.

A tragic page in the history of the town: it's September 27, 1944 What was shot by the Nazis, 39 Martyrs of nearby Etobon before the temple wall. A stele at the entrance of the Protestant cemetery near the place where recalls were summarily buried the 39 men before they joined their final burial in the cemetery of Etobon December 8, 1944.

The village of Chenebier part of the Community of Communes of the Pays d'Hericourt.

Many associations animate the village. The Feast of the flower and garden (20th consecutive edition in 2011) takes place the first Sunday of May.
