Chéméré covers 3731 hectares. Forest covers 650 Prince. It was planted by Harscoet de Rais in the late 17th century. Its broad avenues leading to the Memorial Cross Vendéen, built in memory of the massacres during the Wars of Vendée. A few steps away stands the menhir of the stones. Not far from the forest remain the ruins of the castle of Prince in which successive Lords, including the famous de Retz Gilles de Rais also known as Bluebeard. Near the castle, the Enchanted Isles surprise. The garden inspired by Italian art consists of five islands separated by canals and linked by wooden walkways. They have emerged first approaches the third of the 17th century and were the work of Henri de Gondi, 2nd Duke of Retz, grand-son of Albert de Gondi.

• The cross du Loup Pendu: it would be present since time immemorial. It reminds visitors that the forest of Prince, formerly very extensive, was home to a world of wild animals and obscure and legendary causing fear in people. Legend has it that the cross takes its name from the fact that the last wolf in the forest has been suspended one of its branches after being shot.
• The Cross Malhar: Cross is the second oldest of the town with that of the Loup Pendu. The too close to it with the road to Nantes having too damaged, it was replaced by a concrete cross.
• The Church of St. John the Baptist was destroyed during the Revolution in 1794, was rebuilt between 1875 and 1879, and was designed by architect Henry Gelec. The bell tower, it will be built in 1794. The bells are acting, are called Fernande-Adeline, Marie-Rose and Jeanne-Marie.
