TOWN PRESENTATION

The common Châtillon-en-Michaille is located 5 km northwest of Bellegarde-sur-Valserine separated from the north by Montanges Semine, Comfort north-east and east Lancrans by Valserine. It is adjacent to Bellegarde south-east, and the Grand Cities Abergement south-west, north-west Lalleyriat and Saint-Germain-de-Joux which it is separated by Tacon.

The town has four hamlets and remote farms, farms in ruins. The villages of Vouvray and are associated with Ochiaz Chatillon since 1973, when she took the name of Châtillon-en-Michaille. Châtillon-en-Michaille enjoys a privileged location, 40 km from Geneva, Annecy idem, (near major ski resorts) and only one hour from Lyon (for the A40 - exit to the town).

SIGHTSEEING
