Small town of 3900 inhabitants, is situated at the foot Châtenois of Hahnenberg, at the mouth of two valleys in the Vosges, on the wine route and 3 km from Selestat. City of Celtic origin, it has preserved the remains outstanding. Carrefour important Alsace Centre, Châtenois is also the starting point for many hikes.
