- Visit of the Abbey of Saint-Jean Orbestier (twelfth century):
- It shows what was an important Benedictine monastery between the 12th and 18th century. Founded in the 12th century by William IX, Duke of Aquitaine and Count of Poitou, the abbey was burned several times and destroyed in 1659 during the Wars of Religion. Converted into a farm and sold as national property in 1791, the abbey served successively in the 19th and 20th centuries of bitter vessels of sanatorium and school.
- All that remains today as the church and the house of the Abbot from the 15th century. Under restoration since 1992, the abbey became a meeting place and cultural events.
- See also the church of Saint-Hilaire. It was built on the ruins of a castle. Although its creation date remains a mystery, it was enlarged under Louis XV.

- Trail of St. John of Orbestier: Duration: 1 hour. Distance: 4 km. Main interest: the nostalgic coast and the views of the sea See also the restoration of the farm in Bel Air and its garden. - Trail Coudriou - The Spruce: Duration: 2 hours. Distance: 6 km. Principal charm: the walk under a canopy of oak branches in the arbor. Starting in the hamlet of Bellevue (karting circuit input), road Grosbreuil.
- Path of Saint-Jean Moulin: Duration: 4 hours. Distance: 11 km. Many stops of interest: an old windmill, home of Jeannine Gazeau with its collection of wedding gowns and caps, the hollow road of Courolles ... Start the car park of the Rue des Landes, a place called The Mouzinière.
- Trail Tanchet: Duration: 2 hours. Distance: 7 km.
