Church of St. Joseph: In the 19th century parish church of Saint-Marcel, located Nocq, is in ruins. The Bishop of Moulins prohibits the use and the building was then destroyed. The new village priest, a great devotee of St. Joseph, decided to build a church in the town center to Chambérat, instead of a fair very well known. The church of Gothic style is wearing a St. Joseph, and still has remnants of fine frescoes with the star-studded ceiling, Latin inscriptions of the transept or the motives of the gutter walls of the nave. The 16 windows are almost all dedicated to St. Joseph and date from the nineteenth century. They represent the first span over St. Joseph of St. Peter's in Rome and in front, in all modesty, St. Joseph over the church of Chambérat.

EVENTS AND CELEBRATIONS
Fair: The first Monday after the Assumption (August 15). Certainly exists since Gallo-Roman, it is one of the largest and oldest fairs in the region. Initially dedicated to horses and agricultural products, it hosts every year thousands of visitors. Around 1850, a cow's milk cheese raw whole is created "The Chambérat". Its production disappears in the years 1950-1960 but fortunately risen in recent years. Nearly 20,000 people stroll among some 180 exhibitors in this small village.
