Every year from July 14 to August 15, pageant of the Battle of Castillon (1453). The Battle of Castillon marks the end of the Hundred Years War, three centuries of belonging of Aquitaine to the English crown and allows the kingdom of France to be last. 7 acres of scenic area, a cannon shot from the same place of the battle, 700 volunteers, including 450 actors and 50 horsemen participate in this great pageant. Beyond exploits these two intense hours, raised waterfalls, special effects and pyrotechnic prowess, as we dive back into daily life in the Middle Ages, between farms and inns, women well, scenes of harvest , hunting parties, their teeth and hawkers.
