Built between 1640 and 1656, commissioned by Peter the Mariner, a member of parliament of Rouen, and according to plans by Francois Mansart, Cany Castle is a building of brick, limestone and sandstone, Louis XIII style, making the subject of a registration as a historic monument since 1930. It is surrounded by a vast 30-hectare park, watered by the Durdent, which feeds into the moat.

The castle is open to the public every summer from July 1. You can admire, outdoors, gardens and, inside, the furniture of the 18th century, woodwork, hangings, library and kitchen.
