Former mining town (coal), Camplong is now turning to tourism (hiking, biking, riding, donkey rides ...).

Since spring 2009, Camplong successfully convert its mining by the completion of Wind Farm Camp Negro (renewable energy and sustainable development).

It is a small mountain village in the foothills of the Cevennes, located north of the Herault, nature is beautiful in all seasons. It's good to live, quiet and people are friendly.
