Callian is a town of over 3 000 inhabitants, situated at 325 m altitude. This town of 2542 hectares is part of Fayence, eight villages perched inland Var, near Saint-Raphael, Cannes and Grasse.
SIGHTSEEING
The village is part of Callian circuit perched villages of Fayence.
Its medieval castle built on a rock, which lanes to place spiral is the culmination of the village.
The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, built in 1675 in the village gives a touch of originality with its particular tower roof tiles glazed in bright colors.
The village has its Callian common another castle, the castle Goerg built in a park, in terraces, adjacent to downtown.
You will find in the village and outside the village chapels built between the 10th and 13th centuries, reflecting the religious life of ancient inhabitants of Callian.
From the village you have a view over the hills, plains and forests that surround the village and Callian neighbor Montauroux.
