Brienne-le-Château, capital of northeastern Aube is located at the crossroads of 3 large lakes and the Regional Natural Park of the Orient Forest in Aube en Champagne.

This city is above all remarkable for its castle which overlooks, but Brienne became famous residence of Napoleon in his youth at the Ecole Militaire in the city now a museum. Other assets make Brienne-le-Château a small attractive and dynamic city, famous as the Sauerkraut Festival in September ... For if one comes to Brienne Napoleon is often out the back door with his bag of sauerkraut cooked with champagne.
