Traces of settlement ... A human presence is attested since the Neolithic. From the 10th or 11th century, there existed a Benedictine priory, dedicated to St. Bartholomew and attached to the abbey of Souillac (Lot). Located in the border area between the Quercy and the south-east of Perigord, the parish was home to five small estates. In 1360, they are dependent on the King of England. From this wide valley where Céou settled the town, the flâneur goes to a place of fullness when it penetrates the valleys adjacent to steep slopes and densely forested. The winding road follows a thread as these funds narrow valleys, grasslands occupied by plateaux. The areas of crops and livestock are organized around the frame of Perigord style with a clear influence of Quercy. The undulating plateaus often provide unobstructed views, giving the landscape of solitude a more lively and reassuring. The common Bouzic is best known for its farmers market from countries that animates the entire summer.
