Bourréac is a common urban area of Lourdes located 4 km from Lourdes. The village is at the center of a line of hills, 500-600 m above sea level, facing the Pyrenees, with, in particular, the Pic du Jer foreground Cabaliros on the Hautacam, the Montagues and Pic du Midi de Bigorre in the background. It dominates the plain of Lézignan balcony (village below) that opens into the town of Lourdes in the west.
