TOWN PRESENTATION

  • History:
  • 1896: Pleasant, quiet, safe and conveniently connected to Paris, the town quickly became a large village inhabited by artists, scholars, merchants and employees. It measures 55 m long and 16 m wide:? The tunnel closed the largest of the world?, Wrote the magazine L'Illustration (November 1938).
  • 1950-1970: is the period of major development of the town.
  • 1999: The start of Hispano-Suiza in 1999, marks the end of the period of industrial Bois-Colombes
