Between wooded hills, meandering Ouche draw an enchanting this capital of rural township whose origin dates back to prehistory. The eye is drawn to the church of the 12th century wearing a tufa tower of the 15th century dominates the village. This church once stood inside the castle, destroyed by order of Louis 11th in 1478. Of the six towers that flanked the castle, the only remaining vestiges of the towers and Avagne Chapter.
