Blaye-les-Mines located in Midi-Pyrenees, north of the Tarn department of the Toulouse / Rodez, Albi and between Carmaux.
History:
1789: Community of Blaye, seneschal of Toulouse, Albi diocese, parish, St. Salvi Blaye.
1790: Town of Blaye, Monestiès Township, district of Albi.
An 10th: Commune de Blaye, Monestiès Township, Borough of Albi.
1829: Decree of 28 September delineating the common and Carmaux Blaye.
1889: The town of Blaye integrates Carmaux Township, created at the expense of that of Monestiès by the Act of July.
The parish of St. Louis in 1910 Boise was created.
1934: The town of Blaye receives the new name "Blaye-les-Mines" by decree of June 29
1936: Application for attachment of a part-Labastide Gabausse to the town of Blaye.
1973: The town of Canton is attached to Blaye-les-Mines Carmaux-South following the Decree No. 73-675 of July 13, 1973 Township Carmaux dividing into 2 separate cantons.
