Blaignan is a small town which lies 60 km from Bordeaux and 20 km from the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. The current joint meeting of the hamlets Blaignan and Caussan. The town retains the name Blaignan reminiscent of the old noble family, whose castle stood on the mound instead of Blaignan said.
