Situated along the valley Scorff Berné is a parish that dates back to the 10th and 11th century. It holds mainly in its history the events related to Conspiracy Cellamare. The Marquis de Pont-Calleck, who owned the castle of the same name, tried to protest against the royal power to obtain the restoration of the privileges of Britain. The uprising ended in failure after which the marquis and his three companions were executed. The castle now houses a religious congregation. Its park is open to the public.

Bern's history, however, is much older than the famous Marquis. Witness the remains of the medieval village in the heart of the forest of Pont-Calleck.

It is on Berné lies the castle, park and forest Calleck bridge. There is almost nothing left of the fortified manor famous Marquis. On its site stands a 19th century building which retains some older items. The pond dates from the late 13th century. Downstream were the forges of the Pont-Calleck which remains of buildings. It is possible to visit the park and along the pond.

In the forest, a hamlet, partly excavated in the late 1970s is highlighted. It is possible to visit only as a circuit, decorated with small panels combining text and graphic reconstructions, is built on the site. The restored buildings scientifically allow everyone to understand that small rural architecture of the Middle Ages lasted in the past half century.
