Chief town of the district, bordering the river Etel. The only bridge crossing the estuary, the Lorois Bridge, that connects Lorient, Auray, but above all the major coastal resorts along the coast.

The rich natural heritage, religious and archaeological Belz, the diversity of its landscapes and its mild climate makes it a dream destination for lovers of small and large walk in the heart of the most renowned of Morbihan.
