The discovery of shuffleboard disc dating from the Paleolithic or Neolithic shows that the first humans settled there since prehistoric times. The village was ransacked during the Barbarian invasions of going to Spain in the early fifth century. In 1324, the abbot of Bonnefont reformer and the Commissioner, on behalf of King Charles the Fair, founded the fortified town (village) of Beauchalot. Lestelle road, you will see the castle from the 18th Mourlon s. It consists of one main building decorated with two towers: one on the side and the other side yard. The castle of Castillon has the same architecture.
