Staying at Bagnols reconciles the pleasures of the sea and those of the country.

Located in the foothills of the Esterel, this peaceful hilltop village populated by just under 2000 inhabitants, 300 meters, is the first on the D 4 which connects the Mediterranean, from Frejus, the country of Fayence . Its climate is softened by the summer breeze that crosses the Pico Gardiette and cool when you are seated at one of the terraces of restaurants in the central square shaded by ancient plane trees, or the church square, in the chestnut trees.

In summer and during school holidays the tourist office organizes guided tours of the village with the construction of the first houses on the present site dates back to 1470. You will discover the 18th century church and the 4 chapels whose primary purpose was to protect residents from harm and lightning were built to the 4 cardinal points of the town.

Hiking trails lead you to discover the ancient "of diamond cutting wheels" that worked from prehistory to the 18th century, the remains of the "dam Malpasset.
