Located at 505 m in the foothills Alpine Aups is located 60 km from the seaside and 80 km snowfields.

Integrated into the Verdon Regional Natural Park, the village of Aups is the southern gate of the Verdon Gorge, world famous for its picturesque scenery and the many sports-related activities that offers climbing, nature walks, sports of rafting, canyoning, gliding ....

• Collegiate Church of St. Pancras: erected in 1499, by the canons of Valmoissine. Provencal Gothic, Renaissance facade. • Our Lady of Deliverance: 1853 chapel, built on the ruins of the ancient castle of the Dukes of Blacas, as a votive offering to the Virgin to thank her for sparing the village and the massacre of its inhabitants during the coup of Napoleon the third and Republicans Aupsois.
