The village Aulon built on the southern flank of Pico Arbizon to 1227 m altitude, around its Romanesque Church ranked 16th century, taverns and shops of local products typical of mountain, make it a vibrant place to live and friendly.
As part of the "Land Art and History", the activity of the village revolves around traditional mountain: livestock, crafts, cheeses.
SIGHTSEEING
In winter, if you want you can organize your trips ski touring or snowshoeing from the village.
In summer, the observatory's unique Natural Reserve Regional valleys of Rabat and Auloueilh the departure of many walks invite you to discover the great raptors Pyrenees and the lives of shepherds unless you follow the GR10 to the lakes altitude.
