Armoy is located on the territory of the Community of Municipalities of Geneva Hills including common Allinges, Cervens, Draillant, The Lyaud, and Orcier Perrignier and borders with the town of Thonon-les-Bains.

The town consists mainly of three distinct hamlets corresponding to plateaus at different altitudes: the Hermitage, Lonnaz and the capital which is 630 m above sea level. The many wood present in the town (including the City Park of Thonon-les-Bains) Armoy contribute to making a place rich in landscapes and activities.
