Located at the Porte de la Maurienne valley, against the massif of Lauzière, the municipality of Argentine has a rich history linked to the family Castagneri, owner of the old mines and foundries that made the reputation of the village. Hiking enthusiasts will enjoy its trails that will lead to places with stunning scenery, such as needles or the Balme Montartier lakes. You can also access the trail from the balcony of La Tour Lauzière.
